Al Walters has over 30 years experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer and business owner in manufacturing, distribution, staffing, consulting and financial services companies. Al has helped found and start several organizations from the ground up and has led these and other emerging companies through rapid growth, equity and debt financing and M & A. Specialties include manufacturing, distribution, financial services, staffing, and consulting. He has served numerous companies at various life cycles including start-up, high growth, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy and turnaround.
Entities in which he has worked include Arthur Andersen, American Desk (CFO/interim CEO), McLane Financial Services, a subsidiary of Wal-Mart (Managing Director), CashWorks/GE (VP Finance and Operations), Impact Innovations (CFO) and WorldVentures (CFO). Al has negotiated large financing arrangements with top 5 major US banks and Venture Capital firms and managed several large, successful systems projects. Al has been president of Kestral Financial, his own consulting firm helping clients build world class financial organizations, processes and systems
He has two grown children, is a CPA and earned a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Illinois State University. |
